An Adult Day Center is a program that provides day support and respite services to individuals and their families that are still semi-independent but require minimal assistance with activities of daily living.
If you feel as though your loved one would benefit from daily therapeutic activities that focus on cognitive enhancement, socialization, and physical mobility, then an adult day center is perhaps a good fit for them. Adult Day centers are a good alternative to nursing homes and assisted living facilities for families that have loved ones that would like to remain living in the home due to them not being quite ready for such long-term facilities.

Yes, meals are provided as our menu has been curated by a licensed dietician. A nutritious breakfast and well-balanced lunch are provided daily as well as two light snacks served throughout the day. Special dietary needs are also accommodated based on a physician's order.
We partner with various agencies in the area that cover the cost of attendance for clients that are referred from these agencies. Agencies include DSS (Department of Social Services), CAP (Community Alternative Program), VA CCN (Veterans Administration Community Care Network), Mid-Carolina Area Agency on Aging Family Caregiver Support Program/HCCBG (Home and Community Care Block Grant), and long-term care insurance. Private pay is also an alternative when an agency referral is not an option.
Yes, our program does provide transportation. Although, at this time, we are unable to offer wheelchair accessible transportation.
